Residential - Asphalt Driveways

The usual life span of a properly installed driveway that has a minimum of a 6″ gravel base and paved at three-inches-thick is of at least 18 – 20 years with recommended maintenance.

An important factor to the strength of the driveway is the hand tamping of the edges at 45 degree angles. This provides proper support against crumbling edges as well as giving your driveway a  beautiful finished appearance.

A properly done driveway that is well maintained should last at least 20 years. A lower bid may mean soon repairs or entire replacement of your driveway!
