Asphalt Driveways
The look of your driveway is one of the first things people notice when they come to your property. Whether you are selling or staying, do not forget your driveway – no hardscape is finished without a driveway in good condition. Economical, durable and long lasting, driveways are also quite reasonable when it comes to maintenance.
We are determined to furnish you with a tough and durable pavement that is effective and reliable for a long time. Our driveways are crafted with both the beauty and the best materials in mind. Our strength is in the details from perimeters and corners to the precise packing next to structures and other pavements. The tamping of the edges is a major requirement for the strength of the driveway. This provides suitable support against dissolving edges and giving your driveway a pleasant finished bearing of consistent lines and winding curves.
Constructed to be tough and enduring, asphalt driveways are crafted to brave the cold and warm temperatures of winter and spring. Asphalt paving projects are simpler and can be done in a shorter amount of time due to the lesser number of steps needed for installation and repairs when compared to concrete.
Unlike concrete, asphalt installation and repairs can be done in less time as fewer steps are required to finish the paving project.

Driveway Overlay/Resurface
If the duration of your driveway isn’t a deciding factor, resurfacing is the most cost-effective way to make it look new. With a dependable existing driveway surface, a resurfacing job should last 7-10 years, though spot patching may be needed in some regions.
Driveways can be resurfaced or “overlayed” with asphalt. The prime candidate for a resurface is:
- A slightly cracked area.
- The driveway is settled no more than 2″ low below the garage floor or has at least this amount of space from current pavement to garage floor, city sidewalk, and entrance, and is in good to average [shape|condition}.
- The driveway is long and can have segments corrected independently; it is unlikely that smaller driveways will see any cost advantages due to the minimum payment that has to be made.

ASPHALT PAVING PROCESS
STEP 1.
DEMO & BASE PREPARATION
On their arrival, the team will strip the prevailing surface of the driveway, set up the new stone base, grade, and leave it compressed and prepared for inspection with the local town or municipality as necessary.
In the vast majority of cases, the driveway will be available for parking after the base is completed.
STEP 2.
INSPECTIONS
When the base is ready, we will arrange any requisite base inspections.
Upon successful inspection, the date for the pavement installation will be determined, which is usually 1-3 days after the base is ready, weather permitting.
In most villages, it is not necessary for anyone to be present during the inspection, though it is compulsory for a permit to be visibly displayed on a front window or door, and approved plans to be made available in case of need.
We will make known if a base inspection is not necessary in some Villages, and paving can be done as soon as it is available.
STEP 3.
PAVEMENT INSTALLATION
The asphalt installation crew will finish the driveway by pouring the asphalt and keeping it off from traffic.
When constructing, contact your local police department to gain permission to park on the street.
