Whether you are just starting your search on your new project or your project has already been completed, here is helpful information about your new pavement and how to keep it looking like new.

What areas does Total Paving service?

We proudly service the Lake County, Northern Cook County, McHenry County and Wisconsin Kenosha County area.

Does Total Paving provide a Warranty?

Yes, a 1-year warranty is provided for driveways that we install the gravel base for.

Do I need a building permit for my project?

Most locations will require a building permit to be applied for. Please contact your cities building department to see they’re guidelines for you.

I would like to proceed with my project. What is the next step?

Once you have decided on the final project details with your estimator, we will require the signed contract, deposit and building permit to be on file.

What can I expect during construction?

You will receive a project guide describing the stages of the construction process for your project.

I am restricted on dates that I can have my project completed, can you work with my schedule?

We understand and may work with date restrictions and we work hard to accommodate our customers needs whenever we can.

Is it necessary to seal coat after the asphalt driveway installation?

Yes, after a minimum of 60 days cure time. We recommend sealcoating your driveway back-to-back the first two years after it is paved. After, we recommend every other year to avoid layering.

What if I have questions after the project is completed?

We will work with you to answer any remaining questions after the project is completed to your full satisfaction.
